Kites over Lake Michigan - Two Rivers, WI

Nashotah Beach, Two Rivers, Wisconsin - Sept. 6
Here's a great view of the kites as we walked along the shore of Lake Michigan.
Many colorful kites dancing in the air. The beach was absolutely packed with
families playing in the lake and sand. Many brought their kites and
attached them to their beach chairs and kids. heheh

Children gathered for the candy drop from a kite up high.
It was a big hit!!

A couple of people preparing the launch of a windsock/kite.

Launch of the jolly roger by a event-goer. Nice choice, mate!

Even Chinstrap (penguin ground flag) was there to enjoy the fun.

Huge flags lined the beach to celebrate the day.
The way the light shone through them was awesome.

A brightly colored garden of ground flags and windsocks fluttering
in the wind.

Someone launching a very large bird kite into the air.

There were many of unusual and fun kites flying high.....
A red octopus kite.

Bucky!!

Butterflies...

and so many more....

Food and activities galore....

Even the local nuns enjoyed Kites over Lake Michigan.
I loved when their scarves blew around in the wind like windsocks at
the lake. A very fun day all in all.... I'm going back next year!!! ~Cheers!!
