It's just Buck n' Grazy!!
It really is!! Here's Buck n' Grazy (our animated lawn deer)
trying to lift their out of the deep snow. Or maybe their trying to
find food deep under the snow. LMAO!!!

Buck n' Grazy all lit up!! And their heads aren't too heavy from the
snow nor are they frozen down...yet!!

Actualy the weather is just buckin' crazy!! It's deep already and we
might get another 10-14' in the next 2-3 days. WTH???

Even though I'm not looking forward to the subzero temps, shoveling
and driving in all this white stuff...

...my little buddy, Max loves it!!
Have a great week all-stay warm & stay safe!!

their little hearts out!! Oh yeah, and don't forget to give them
something sharp and glistening to wave around. LMAO!!!!!!!!

Aurora Borealis
- When the winter months come, I usually look to the night sky more often. The stars seem brighter and the sky seems deeper. I've only seen the aurora borealis once. I wish it would appear more often in the Wisconsin skies.
Aurora Borealis ... I believe this one is from England.
Watch the stars move in the background.
Aurora Borealis over Antartica
Aurora Borealis over northern Wisconsin, September 2005.
About Aurora Borealis
I will be off the Island for a while... enjoy these while I'm gone....

Black Hole Pizza and The Last Supper!
The Onion: Domino's Tests Limits Of What Humans Will Eat
– You know, I've often wondered how far the pizza industry will go to lure you into buying their pizza products. We have pizza desserts, breakfast pizzas, pizza bread sticks, pizzas with cheese stuffed into every nook and cranny of the crust.
There are oven baked pizzas, grilled, fried, and frozen pizzas. Different styles of pizza: neopolitan, white, margherita, marinara, lazito, scicilian, and on and on...
I'm hoping that someday they will create a virtural "black hole" pizza. It could be called "The Last Supper," ...being a sort of self-euthanasia pizza. The waiter brings the pizza in a "safe box" and places it on the table. You open the box and are sucked into the center of the pizza along with all the toppings you've chosen to die with.
What a way to go!!! LMAO!!!
Huh, I wonder if some hospitals would like to add The Last Supper to their menu?? Well, maybe not, it might conflict with what they are already using to poison their hungry patients.
Thanks for landing on the Island!!

Young Frankenstein

Made in 1974, and directed by Mel Brooks, this is a black and white classic parody/comedy of Frankenstein movies! Starring Gene Wilder, Marty Feldman, Peter Boyle, Teri Garr, Cloris Leachman, and Gene Hackman.
Gene Wilder plays Dr. Frankenstein who gets his inheritance, and then goes to Transylvania to clear up the will. And finding his Grandfather's personal library, continues in his grandfather's footsteps. He succeeds and it's absolutely hysterical!!!
Below is the movie trailer and some great movie clips!!

Hungry?? Madison Food & Wine Show!
Welcome to the Madison Food and Wine Show Tour!!
*please be patient...lots of photos here to load*

Here we are! At the entrance you are given a wine glass for tasting.
I hope you brought your appetite with you today!!

Are you thirsty??? White or red? Sweet? Dry? What would you like sir?

Mead!! From the White Winter Winery in Wisconsin.
The shorter black bottle on the table has the best mead in it!
Black Harbor-a black currant honey wine with grape neutral spirits added.
21% proof!

Have a little chocolate with that mead sir???

Let's try some Door County wine!! Mmmmm!

How about some Wisconsin made Vodka or Gin?
Ok the gin was a bad choice...at this point...should've saved that for the end.

Let's clear that gin away with some Brie...from a tube!
Much easier for crackers than the wheel type!!

Maple Caramel Korn...so light and tasty!!
(looked like popcorn chicken from KFC, LOL)

Panera was there! Had a broccoli cheese soup little tiny bread bowl (roll).

Check out the size of this bottle!!
Know any Big Naughty Girls who would like this??? *grin*

Willy Street Coop had a nice display of food!!

Vegetable sushi!! Yummm!

Come on!! Put some wasabi on that sushi!!

Let's have more wine!! Wollersheim!

This guy wanted his pix taken with these tiny cups of pudding and desserts!
He was a proud chef!!

A close up of his handy-work...and they were tasty!!!

More wine to sample!! This time from Flemings!! Mmm.

Nice display of huge wine glass with floating candles and flowers.

More cheese and crackers, sir?

How about some Australian lobster and crab??

Black Angus steaks....expensive!!!!

The next three pix are a display of sauces being sold by Metcafes (Sentry).

mmmmm....gravy!

Is that the Eiffel tower...OMG...I can't eat that!!

Got room for dessert?
NO!!! But they do look tasty!
We tasted wine and food for about three and half hours that day.
Needless to say, I needed a flippin' good nap when I got home!!
I hope you enjoyed the extremely long tour!!
Sorry, I don't usually do that.
Thanks for landing on the Island!!!

Kite flying, beaches, scenic views and more...

Last weekend I made a trip to Point Beach with some of my crew. The fall colors were at peak and the weather was in the seventies. People were out playing at the beach, flying kites, swimming, and as you can barely see above...playing bocce ball in the parking lot!!!!

Some of the crew drinking brews and heading off into the freezing water.

We were surprised to see kites flying in the skies...

Flying Kites for Peace was going on that weekend...

and someone was flying the Jolly Roger!!!! I wish I had brought ours.

A family reeling in their kite for the day.

Lake view of Point Beach State Forest Lodge.

Wooden bridge leading to recreation area.

A couple enjoying the view and the warm fall day.

More kites flying in the distance.

Path leading to the beach.

All in all a great day for a road trip to the beach!!
I hope you enjoyed the warm weather last weekend too!
Thanks for landing on the Island!
